Andrew S. Gerkin

A proud graduate of the University of Michigan, Andrew Gerkin received his Juris Doctorate degree with honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Prior to opening Gerkin & Decker, Attorney Gerkin worked as an associate attorney for Barone Law Offices in Plymouth, Michigan, where he gained extensive experience and knowledge in a variety of legal areas. Today, his primary focus is in legal counsel and representation in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, business law, real estate law, civil litigation, and personal injury matters.

Ryan E. Decker

A Western Michigan University honors graduate, Ryan Decker earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Prior to opening Gerkin & Decker, Attorney Decker worked for a domestic litigation law firm where he specialized in family law matters. Today, his primary focus and passion remain in the area of family law, where he dedicates the majority of his practice to handling divorce, custody, parenting time, and support-related matters.

Molly Boughton

Molly Boughton is an honors graduate from Ferris State University and earned her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She is proud to bring her own passions and life experience to the nature of her work.

Michelle McLean

Michelle McLean graduated Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University. A driven person and a dedicated professional, Attorney McLean is committed to excellence and continually honing her legal skills, with a focus on family law (among other practice areas).

Michael Szappan

Michael Szappan is a graduate from Western Michigan University and earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Following law school, Attorney Szappan began his career in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan, eventually moving to the Metro Detroit area. He has experience in many areas of law, including Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Criminal record expungements, DNA and Forensic Science, Family Law, and Real Estate Law. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching U of M and the Lions' football. He volunteers with the advisory board for American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure.
